Joint NFL-NFLPA Statement on 8th Circuit Ruling
July 8th, 2011
NFL-NFLPA Joint Statement
While we respect the court’s decision, today’s ruling does not change our mutual recognition that this matter must be resolved through negotiation. We are committed to our current discussions and reaching a fair agreement that will benefit all parties for years to come, and allow for a full 2011 season.

The fact that season ticket holders pay the same price for preseason as for regular season is unfair and rediculous. Give us the option, don’t force us to donate money to the NFL for tickets we can’t even give away most of the time.

Cmon, really? Wee all know that they are gonna miss part of the pre season already. But they can always change they’re tune when or if they don’t get something done. I’m leaning toward the when bc it seems every time they get close, the door slams shut on them. This time its rookie wage scale, next time it’ll be sotn else. I, as like with most of my fellow season ticket holders will be increasingly frustrated with no deal in place come opening day.

I also agree whole heartedly with vince. We pay out the nose for tickets we never with use.
