Statement from NFLPA President Kevin Mawae
July 22nd, 2011
“Player leadership is discussing the most recent written proposal with the NFL, which includes a settlement agreement, deal terms and the right process for addressing recertification. There will not be any further NFLPA statements today out of respect for the Kraft family while they mourn the loss of Myra Kraft.”

Enough is enough guys. Public sentiment is completely against you now. You claim to have the “good of the game” in mind, but reducing padded practices DURING the season??? How is that going to actually help the game? If anything, games will not be nearly as good to watch and the teams will suck.
Quit being wusses and do the deal right.
